We celebrated Coog's birthday a few times from Saturday to Monday.
On Saturday, we invited over a few friends his age and their moms (my friends!). It was a busy Saturday and a lot of people had other things already going on so it was a small group, but super fun, none the less! I put up some decorations I used at his birthday last year. Along with some balloons, that just so happened to match the Broncos colors, the day before the super bowl! Which we didn't even realize until the balloon guy mentioned it, haha. Not major football fans here. We served a few light snacks and treats. And just played and talked! We decided to go simple and serve a "donut cake" which turned out super cute!
Later that day, after everyone left, we whipped out his birthday present! A big kid BIKE! He LOVES it! (We only wrapped one side because it was so big)
Then on Sunday, we went up to the Wuthrich's. After a yummy dinner, we sang Happy Birthday. He LOVES the attention and just smiled and clapped the whole time. Then he got to open more presents! He got a few matchbox trucks, a small remote control car, and another BIKE.
This boy is sure spoiled ;)
On Monday, he got a visit from Grandma Wuthrich, who brought a donut treat with her! Grandpa and Grandma Smith came later that night and took us all out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. They got Coog a cute red scoop chair that he loves sitting in!
We had so much fun the last few days celebrating our favorite little two year old! He is so loved by us and all of his grandma's, grandpa's, aunts, uncles and cousins!!
